Speaker 1:

Welcome to the[inaudible] podcast with Vanessa and Chris. I'm Vanessa Ferguson and I'm Chris Jones. Welcome to show number 13 and for any listeners joining us for the first time, our show features things we love it, Disney and each episode has a guest who creates Disney magic for our listeners, whether it be at home or on their next Disney vacation. We have everyone from vacation planners to product producers. Essentially our guests bring Disney magic into your life. So we are excited today. Um, I'll tell you a little bit about our guests here shortly, but as a reminder to our listeners, please leave us a five star review on apple podcasts. We always give those listeners a shoutout on our episodes and we also would like to send out a special thank you to all of you who've left us a five star customer rating. We greatly appreciate those too. So now on with the show today we're going to cover a topic. We've already touched on this a little bit, Chris, remind me where you have talked about photos before, but we're going to talk a little bit about some of the photo opportunities that are in the park, specifically what Disney offers. So we're going to talk about the memory maker, photo passes, the attraction photos. We're also going to talk about portrait sessions that you can have in the parks. So we're gonna talk about that a little bit later or, but before I want to tell you a brief introduction of today's guests. So our guests that we will have on the phone later on is Ricky from satisfaction. All design. She has a shop with her sister and they create original designs for shirts that are inspired by of course where else, but the happiest place on earth. Their designs are bright and modern, but they also have a classic Disney quick twist. They have references from obscure things like the sons that are featured in the different rooms of, it's a small world and I really liked that one. I think I'm going to have to get that all the way to one of their really popular all off designs, which is, it has the quote some people are worth melting for. And we know somebody who likes Olaf. Oh yeah, we didn't know somebody. Um, so they really have something for all Disney Disney lovers. So we'll get reiki on the phone here a little bit later in the show, but we want to start out by, as I mentioned, we're going to talk about what Disney offers in terms of photos. And I know Chris has mentioned, and we've talked about this, what did we do besides eating? What did we do on a Disney vacation? We take a lot of photos, so we do take a lot of photos. So we're going to go over some of the options that Disney has in the parks. Now. There are of course is what's called photo pass. So if you're not familiar with that, there's locations throughout the parks. There's some attractions, some other locations I'm going to talk about. But essentially through your magic band, you have the photographers scan or sometimes there's just a like a little button that you would scan your magic band at. In these photos become available, you can buy the photos. You can also do something that I suggest and this is what we're going to spend some time talking about, is to purchase what's called the memory photo path. This means that you get all of your pictures from your trip and the nice thing is that if you buy in advance, you can save some money. So this typically costs$199 but it has all your photos that you get taken in the parks for download. If you buy it at least three days ahead of your trip, you can get up for$169 so you can save 30 bucks if you do it ahead of time. And really if you're going to be on a trip longer than three or four days, this is well worth it. We've done a lot with groups, which I'll talk about a little bit later. The price is the same whether or not you are at Disney for one day or for 14 days. So again, you've got to look at, okay, am I only going to want a couple photos where maybe I'll just pay the individual download price or is it worth for me to get that memory maker? I, as I said, a lot of times when we're there for at least four or five days, we'll get the memory maker. Now the biggest thing as I mentioned, that 72 hour window, one thing is if you buy it, let's say right at that 72 hour mark, there are some photos at first day that may not be available for download. So that's always kind of a tricky thing. So you probably want to do it a little bit sooner than that if you're going with a group. Now we did this at our wedding and then we also did this at our vow renewal. We connected with everyone who was going with us through my Disney experience and in the case of our wedding and our vow renewal last year we had a lot of people. So we got pictures from a lot of different people in our group. Yeah, we did and we've also done this when we've met up with some of the other Disney couples when there's been a group of us, we've connected through my Disney experience and what happens is that you connect everyone's magic bands through what's called the family and friends list. And by doing that, essentially when you buy that memory maker PhotoPass all of their photos of the person who's connected with you will be on your path for you to be able to download. Another nice thing is that if you are annual pass holder, you'll get access to these photos at no cost. I have saw though, there are some weird quirks. I went with my friend in the fall and she had an annual pass and we were able to get all those photos, but some of the ones where I wasn't with her didn't necessarily show up for the download. So if you do have though the connection with friends through my Disney experience, that family and friends list with the regular of memory maker PhotoPass I haven't seen any problems. I think at our vow renewal I had over 2000 photos I was able to download from our group. Now the nice thing is with these, if you're not familiar with how PhotoPass works, when you go up you can have multiple poses. So sometimes let's say if we're traveling with some friends or we're traveling with my parents, Chris and I will get our picture together. We'll get a group photo, they'll get their picture by themselves. She can kind of do that mix in. These photos are available at different icons throughout the park. Character meet and greets, character meals, certain attractions and these. Another nice thing is you can get some really nice shots that you might not be able to on your own. Like we get a lot of shots at night in front of the castle or in front of spaceship earth. So they have the tripod set up and the longer exposure to be able to get those better pictures. Another thing is they'll use your phone and take some photos for you too. So even if you want some photos right away to put on social media or to text to somebody, whatever it may be, you can have them take the photos for you on your phone or your regular camera as well. They do have some magic shots. So magic shots or where there might be other characters put in the pictures sometimes at the party. So when we've been to the Christmas party, they had special ones. When my friend and I went to the Halloween party there, special shot. So for instance, we got a couple of photos in front of haunted mansion and there was like ghosts that appeared in them. And then we, when we were at the Christmas party in 2017, we got some special pictures that had um, holiday effects on them and different things like that. So those magic shots are nice because that's something you can't take with their own camera. If you have any little ones that go to the bippity boppity boutique studio in castle couture, um, when they, it's the one that's right by Cinderella Fountain near the Castle, you can get royal portraits done. Um, so if your little one has done the whole makeover in that castle couture store, you can go in there and get those photos taken and all of her pictures will be on your path. So that's a nice thing. You also get the copyright release. So if you are somewhere and they asked for that for those printouts, you have that and you have that digitally and then you can print that off. The one thing is though, you want to make sure you go on and download these as soon as possible because they will delete from your account after 45 days. Now the annual pass holders, they stay on a little longer. But again you want to be kind of vigilant and make sure that you download those photos. And Chris can attest, I've spent many hours downloading photos from the photo pass website. Um, I do find sometimes it gets glitchy. They recently did an update since the beginning of the year and it has streamlined it. I noticed they didn't have as many features. Often they'll have where you can add on stickers, like with signatures of characters or they'll have where you can add frames, different things like that. So it's important to log on right away. You can also see them in the APP, which is nice. So as soon as you've came off a ride or something, usually within a half hour, 45 minutes, they'll appear in the APP. Now they are also, the PhotoPass photos are typically at a lot of the character meals. So some of the ones that do them are Hollywood and vine, chef, Mickey's and Cinderella's royal table. But then there's others like garden grill or Ohana breakfast that they don't have them. Now here's though kind of a note with Hollywood and vine and chef Mickey's and Cinderella's royal table. You only get one shot. So when I went to chef Mickey's in the fall, you get a shot at the entrance of the restaurant before you're seated. But when the characters come to your table, you're going to have to take those pictures yourself. So make sure you have your camera ready, your phone ready, because don't expect that, oh, Mickey and goofy and chip and Dale or whoever may be coming to your table. You're not going to get all those shots. Even at Hollywood and vine, you've got your picture with mini, but all the other characters came to the table and there wasn't a PhotoPass photographer. So if you're traveling by yourself or anything like that, it's important to know there are some recently automated spaces, and I don't know if Chris has heard about this, but tell me more Vanessa. So at town square theater, which is right when you enter magic kingdom and then also at adventures, outposts in animal kingdom town squares where we meet Mickey and he, he um, his, like in his magician's outfit, there's no longer photographers there. So there's a built in camera that takes a pictures. I don't like that. Yeah. So how it word before is, it was kind of Nice because you go up and Mickey might give me a hug and make, you might shake Chris's hand and the photographer would get all of those different pictures. I'm not sure how it works to the automated I, we are going in or next month we're going down and I have a fast pass to meet Mickey and I wanted specifically to kind of see how this worked so we'll see how that works. Um, so those are just some different things in terms of the photo passes and where those are available. And as I mentioned, it's well worth it. Usually if you are number one with a group you can connect and all share photos for that one price. Or if you're going for a longer trip with just a small, your immediate family, it's well worth it. Getting that memory maker. And I'd like to think undercover tourist, I was able to get some more detailed information from his site, so I appreciate that information he has out there. Now another type of photo that we're going to talk about are the attraction photos. And these are some of, I think Chris likes these a lot. Sometimes we'll ride Everest several times or a different rides and he always likes to do a different pose or something. So the attractions that include photos, our splash mountain, seven doors, fine train space, mountain tower of tear, explanation, Everest, slinky dog dash, which Chris hasn't been on that one yet, frozen ever after. And test track. So with some of these you also get a short video, so on seven doors, mind train and tower of terror, it will show a video of where you're like going past where the cameras are. And then sometimes there's videos with characters on there before the picture as well. Um, so that you can get lots of attraction photos. And I think the one that we've probably bought or I guess printed the most would be um, Chris's favorite ride. Which, what is your favorite ride? Yes. So expedition Everest is one. We have a frame and we usually print that out. And that's something that we typically do every time. But we have some nice photos from some of the other attractions as well. One Nice thing is let's say here, say, Hey, I've been there quite a few times, or maybe this is a second trip within a short period of time or you're not going for very long. And the memory maker just doesn't make sense for you if you want to. They also have what's called a Disney attractions plus and this is only 4,995 and this includes all of your attraction photos that are taken within a 14 day period. So that's kind of Nice if you're like, oh well maybe we don't need all the pictures but we'd really love to have the ride pictures cause you obviously can't get that with your camera or at least I hope you're not trying to take that picture with your camera. I'm, you can get those for 49 95 which I think is kind of a nice thing. Now we're going to talk about something that I don't think Chris probably even knows is available besides when we got married and we had pictures in the park, you can get what are called portrait sessions in magic kingdom and some of the other parks, no. So what happens is there's first, there's what's called a mini session. These are available at magic kingdom and then at certain resorts on property. And so what happens is you get a 15 minute photo session with a Disney photographer. They also have an assistant. These are only offered on certain days of the week. So the mini sessions are offered Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. And what happens is they have a very designated map. If you go on Disney fine art photography website, which I'll try to include this in one of our posts so you can see they have a map that shows you like Disney is very specific about where you're going to get these photos cause it's only 15 minutes. So I can understand that it's a very specific spot within magic. Keenan was the Cinderella's castle in the background. You do have to have park admission. So that's important to know as well. And what this package includes as you get a website where you can download your pictures and these go up within 48 hours, you'd get the copyright release. They're available in all the way up to, you can print them up to 30 by 40 inches. I don't think we have lots of pictures in our house and we don't even have any pictures that big. So the nice thing is that they have the really full resolution and then they also provide you with a web resolution that you can use for social media. But obviously you're wouldn't want to print that and you're allowed to have up to 10 guests. So this is kind of Nice. Like when we got married we had what was called a magic kingdom portrait session. That was like before the park opened, you had to get married there or now they have other opportunities for married couples to get photos. But these are like five in the morning, you're spending several thousand dollars this is a much more affordable option and it's just for a small group now. So we have the mini sessions. We are also going to talk about, they have what are called enhanced sessions. Now these enhance sessions are going to be a little bit more in depth and you get a little bit longer with a photographer. So the these are an hour long and you get a little bit more variety in your options so you can get Epcot, world showcase, Hollywood studios, animal kingdom or any resort on property. So with these you get an hour portrait session and you are able to pick which of these locations that you want. I owed before, as I mentioned, the pricing for the enhanced session. Those mini sessions are two 49 they'll start at two 49 and this session that we're talking about is for 99 so it's about half price to get that 15 minute one and magic kina versus these hour ones in the other parks. So again, going back to when we got married, we had photos and then our vow renewal, we had photos at Epcot because that's where our ceremonies were. So we got lots of world showcase pictures. We also added to that. We got, when we did magic kingdom pictures, we got a portrait session at Hollywood studios. Much more expensive than what you're talking about with this option. You do. Again, like I mentioned with the other ones, you do have to have a theme park in mission, but the package includes a website. You're able to download those copyright, the two different sizes. Same thing with the other, this, so you can have up to 40 people in your picture. So when we, holy cow. Yeah, so, so we look at it from a per person price. It's not that much. Get 40 people. That's true. 40 of your closest friends, 40 of your closest friends. Yes. No. Although I guess I could say we've been to Disney though with groups of 40 or more. Yeah. Tell everybody in your group pay up. So I was thinking like for instance, when we've gone with other Disney couples, we in theory could have had a big group portrait session in the parks. Sometimes there's close to 40 people. So this enhanced session allows you to have those other three parks, a bigger group, but same terms and downloads and all of that sort of thing. Now, Disney also offers some other packages, but I figured the mini session and the enhanced session or probably what would fit in most people's price range. But definitely if you're interested in those, go to the Disney fine art photography website and you can see a little bit more about those. I can you, there's lots of other options with great photographers in the Orlando area. We've done picture shoots with um, Randy Chapman from Chapman photography at the boardwalk and at when we got engaged, we had some at Polynesian and at wilderness lodge. And so you can work with photographers in the area, but if you very specifically wants some certain in park shoots, those are some things that consider and maybe look at those options available from Disney. So Chris can say he's had a lot of these nice photos in the parks. But, and like I mentioned, we've done a lot outside the parks with Randy Chapman as well. So that's kind of a few different photo options for your family, ranging from the PhotoPass pictures to the attraction photos. And then finally to some of those portrait sessions that Disney offers through Disney. Fine art photography, so now we're going to move on. You got one of these nice photo things set up. What do you need? You got to get decked out in style. You have to look good. Yeah, you have to look good. So we have, we're going to be getting Reiki on the phone from satisfaction. All designs. They offer amazing shirts that are very soft and lightweight, which I know we really liked those softer material tee shirts over some of the other ones that you might be able to get out there. They have great lightweight ones and they're ready to help any Disney park goer who's ready to go out and get some really cool pictures in the parks. So we are going to get Ricky here on the phone. We are excited to have Ricky here from satisfaction will design her and her sister Danny started the company in 2018 and they have created a bunch of original designs that are of course inspired by the happiest place on earth. They have a wide array of t shirts and tank tops and they have all kinds of really unusual designs. I know as a figment fan, I saw us a, they have some cute things for that from rides like figment and small world all the way up to, they have a really popular Olaf shirt that I'm sure we'll be able to hear a little bit more about as well. So we'd like to welcome Ricky to the show.

Speaker 2:

Hey, thank you so much for having me.

Speaker 1:

We are excited to hear more about your business and learn a little bit more about you, but like we always enjoyed doing with our guest. We have an icebreaker question related to Disney. And that question today is what is your favorite Disney attraction? Any park anywhere, but what's your favorite attraction?

Speaker 2:

Uh, well I, I'm kind of thinking that if people can recognize the name of our shops out of sexual desire, um, they can probably guess our favorite attraction. Um, so I think individually Danny and I have different favorite attractions, but when we come together, our agreed upon favorite, it has to be splash mountain. And so that is what inspired the shop name and of course our actual most recent design as well.

Speaker 1:

So, so do you have a favorite compared to, have you written the one in Disneyland as well as Disney world? Do you have a preference?

Speaker 2:

Yes. Yes. Um, it's so hard to say. I feel like it's not fair. Um, our family has gone to Disney world so, so many times. Right. I'm pretty much yearly since I was born. Um, so it's almost, it's almost not fair when I think about California, I'm in Disney land and having only written it maybe like five, six times in the two to three trips that we've taken there. But um, Danny will actually be in Disneyland. Oh, coming up next week. Yes. So she is going to get to have the most up to date comparison. It's actually been quite awhile since I have personally been in California and his knee land is so, but she'll have the uptodate, um,

Speaker 1:

right. And all that. I was going to say, I know, I always remember the Disney land one because you're just one person. I always feel like I get on that one way more than I do in Florida. So, depending on the temperature range, it might be a different preference. So yeah,

Speaker 2:

absolutely. That's a good point.

Speaker 1:

And so with that, you know, please, you know, tell us more about your business and just what made you start everything.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Um, so our business, I'm right now, we are primarily focused on reading original designs inspired by Disney and the parks and the films. I'm, we're doing tank tops, tee shirts. Um, we have a few designs that are available as three quarter length shirts. Um, it's a few of our designs that we put out in the fall and the winter. So our, our Jack Skellington, um, and we had a haunted mansion Christmas themed I'm sure, which was one of my personal favorites that we've, we've made so far. Um, but so we made those ones available in the three quarter length sleeve. A just cause it's a little chillier when you're at, you know, very merry Christmas party and a not so scary Halloween. Um, and just, you know, in California in the evenings it gets a little chillier in general. Right. So, um, that's, that's kind of where we're at business. Why is it right now? Um, we started this last June. Um, our, our last trip to Disney world together was in April of 2018 and that trip was a long time in the making. It was our first full big family trip in like six, seven years. Prior to that, prior to that, each of us had gone, you know, individually. But this is the first time since any of us were living at home still any of the kids that we all got back together with parents and, and went back to, to the parks. So, you know, that trip, it took so much coordination. I mean it was five different adults trying to get to the parks, living in two different states. Oh, Yup. So, um, over the course of, like almost a year of planning this trip, my sister and I be any night we, um, we got so much more connected with like the Disney Instagram community. I'm all the amazing at the makers who, who do stuff, um, you know, make their own shirts and their own mini ears and things like that. And we just discovered this whole world that we didn't even know about before. So as we were on this trip, you know, we, we each got a pair of ears, um, and a, and a special teacher leading up to our trip from, from these makers that we so admired. And, and we were going through that week that we were at the park. Um, we just kind of started talking to one another, you know, about how, you know, we've always been artists, um, drawers, painters, what have you, and, um, we really think that, that this is something we can do in it. And an almost started off as like, you know, we're each kind of saying it hypothetically, not quite realizing that the other one is serious about it. Until finally we were both like, you know what, we're going to do it and here are all our ideas will, we'll lay them out there. And, you know, I say, well, that was in April that we were in Disney and we launched, um, at the beginning of June, our first Instagram. And so it was pretty fast. The, um, from kind of the first incarnation. And that's, um, that's Kinda how we got started.

Speaker 1:

So what was your, what was your favorite first design that you put out there?

Speaker 2:

Okay, so our very first design was inspired by, it's a small world and, um, this is kind of a deep, I mean a lot of these shirts that the makers are making about Disney world, you know, it's kind of those deep cuts for real hardcore Disney fans a lot of the times. So this one we felt like it was a pretty deep cut, but we really, we really adore it. It's inspired by small world and I feel recall, um, you know, each room that you're going through, each room has a different, um, son. Yes. So the sun looks different based on which kind of continent you are going through. And he's, so we, um, kind of thought that putting those all together would, would make a really great design with the consistency of, you know, the, the shapes and things in the colors. They're all different, but they're all connected. And so we put that out as our first design. And I, I love that one. It's, it feels really, really summary, which I adore. And you know, I even like it because I had a friend of mine model at and she was able to, she's a teacher and she was able to dress it up and even make it like work. So yeah, I was so impressed by it. So I love that. Um, what I think right now, my favorite design that we have, I know it's past Christmas, but it's the, um, the haunted mansion Christmas tight rope walkers. So, um, we all know the, the stretching portraits in the kind of the pre show holding area of the haunted mansion. And probably the most famous portrait is the tight rope Walker. I think they call her Millie and Gracie are, but you have a few different names for her. Um, but we kind of re restyled her to put her in the Christmas spirit and I just, it was one that Danny and I collaborated on really, really seamlessly together. Sometimes it's kind of like one of us has my idea or the other one does. And you know, we really, really came together on to make it just, I don't know. I know.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes.

Speaker 2:

I do kind of adore her. So it's a, now it's a really fun for Christmas.

Speaker 1:

No, people will already be planning though there December 20, 19 trips. So that's going to be available this year, like throughout the year. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Okay. Yep. Absolutely. So all of our designs are currently available throughout the year. So timing, timing should not be an issue as far as, uh, uh, purchasing and, um, you will get it well within time for us to do with me for sure. Yup.

Speaker 1:

Awesome. Now what are some ways that your products can add a little Disney magic to our listeners' lives, maybe at home, but also their trips? What are some of the really special things that you think they add?

Speaker 2:

Yeah. Um, so I mean, Danny and I and our family, we're, we're obsessed with Disney world. I mean, you could probably, probably guess, um, but you know, we all, we all live in the Midwest, the end. So do we, it's kind of a challenge. Yeah. Yeah. Miss again that, so I'm in Minnesota Dnas in Wisconsin and so it's a lot of times it's a challenge to get down to the park or to California. Um, and it takes a lot more planning than say if you live in, you know, Tampa Bay or something. Yes. Right. So I think what really makes our shirts special is that, you know, where people who are longing to be at the parks, and this is kind of an outlet for us to have some of that magic in our day to day lives. So, um, I think that a lot of other people can connect with that. I mean, we've had brand reps who live, you know, in New York, um, out on the east coast and they, you know, we told them at the time because it was like, okay, you know what we're going through. You Adore this place, but you can't always be there and you can still have this kind of wearable magic and find, you know, the, the magic in your own city. It basically, like we've done our photo shoots for our shirts. I'm just walking around kind of downtown Milwaukee and looking for our own, like, you know, how Disney walls has become such an explosive trend on Instagram. So we've been walking around. Yeah, yeah, I know there's so much fun and it's almost kind of like opened our eyes to, oh my gosh, we have this in our own city. So we've been able to, to walk around and kind of do some of those things and um, and have those traditions, even though we're not at the parks as often as we would like to. So, so we've got that and I feel like, um, a lot of our designs are kind of subtle enough or, or a deep enough cut. Um, and, and we'll just, well designed enough to, you know, wear them on a day to day basis and not have somebody be like, oh gosh, there's that like Disney weirdo again, or something like that, you know, not that, not that, uh, I would care about that sort of judgment, but you know, it's just something you can, you can wear, I guess. Um, and then for those that are going to the parks, I mean, you're with your people there, they're going to know, they're going to recognize that and you're going to get that feedback and make those connections, which is what we're all about. We just adore the community that we have built with others on Instagram. Um, and even through our Etsy page, you know, finding these other shops and, and you know, sharing feedback with one another has been so huge. And so really I think what makes us special is just trying to make those connections both, you know, at home when you're away from the parks and still kind of feeling that magic and then while you are there and making those connections with other people through what you're wearing.

Speaker 3:

Well I think what's great about your shirts is that, like you said, like with the one about a small world, it's a deep message. And, and I've been at Disney were, and you'll see some times hundreds of the same shirt in a day. Right. And what's awesome about yours is that it's unique. It stands out. I mean it has a real cool design and it really references like, you know, if you love Disney and if you are a true fan, but again, I mean that you'll enjoy it. But then, but even for, I think for the casual person that there's a style to it that is totally unique because, and again, like you go to Disney and you could, I don't know how many people are in the park at one day, but you, you want to stand out in those huge crowds. I think this was really awesome about your design.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well I appreciate that. And um, yeah, no, I, I especially think with the, the small world in our newest shirts kind of based on, um, is based on splash mountain. Um, and has, you know, kind of the color scheme that splash mountain has, you know, those tans and then blue apart for the water. And I'd be like, a lot of our designs almost, you know, have some flexibility as far as where you can wear them just based on the color teams, the designs. Like, you know, I feel like the small world design almost fits says well you know in animal kingdom with that color scheme of the tans and the men and things like that.

Speaker 1:

And I did like how on some of your shirts you have where you can get the different color shirt as well cause then you can kind of make it go with those. Seems like you mentioned guy, I'm a huge figment fan and love on that figment shirt you have where you can get the different color shirts, which adds a little twist to, because you might, even if you were around someone who had the same shirt, having the different color background and all of that is a nice added touch now.

Speaker 2:

Oh go ahead. Oh go ahead. No, you're fine.

Speaker 1:

I was just kinda curious how frequently, cause you mentioned some of the different designs that you've had over the time, like the Christmas and like your new one was splash mountain. How do you have kind of a timeline of how often you release a new shirt or is it just as the inspiration strikes or,

Speaker 2:

yeah, so I think in the beginning, um, we, we had a lot of, you know, we, we still do have a ton of ideas. So our first three designs that we put out, which were the sons, um, from small world are our monorail top and are worth melting for frozen referencing shirts. Um, those were kind of our three like big idea. So we knew that we wanted to do those ones first and we were able to get them out, you know, fairly one after the other. After that it was kind of, um, figuring out, okay, how do we work things, you know, with these upcoming holidays. Because by the time we had our first three designs out, it was the end of August and it was ready to start planning for, for fall and Halloween. Yeah. And so then we started thinking, okay, how do we, how do we attach ourselves to, to these different events that are going on and how do we, how do we get our designs there? Even if we ourselves can't be ad, you know, not so scary Halloween party or something like that. So, so after that we really kind of focused our attention to, um, to those holidays and the seasons and things like that. Um, now since then we've kind of gone back to our, you know, our big, our big original list of ideas and figuring out, okay, you know, what, what's really jumping out at us right now? You know, what, what are we really loving or what are we really missing in Alana sphere right now? You know, um, as far as like wishing I could be there, you know? Right. So, um, so yeah, we just released the, um, splash mountain tank, Tom, which is an t shirt, which is based on a, it has a briar patch design. I'm in references, you know how it's, it's home sweet home for where rabbit and it's home sweet home for us, for us too. So, um, that was, I think at this point, you know, we're, what, 10 months, nine months out from when we were last there in April. And it's just this the point where it gets really,

Speaker 1:

you're ready for that next train for too long.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. And it's so cold here that is like, oh my God, I have to do that is a design that was, that was really jumping out to us right now and kind of asking to be made.

Speaker 1:

Right. And now with your different designs, I know you talked about you have sweatshirts, tank tops, three quarters lane and regular t shirts. Are these, do you have unisex? Is it w do you have ones that Matt has different cuts for different body types?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, absolutely. So typically all of our shirts are going to come in sizes. I believe most of them started extra small or small. And then for the majority of them will go up to three acts. So when we do carry a wide range of sizes, um, as far as cuts, our tee shirts and our three quarter length top are a unisex cut. Um, and our tanks are cut for women. Okay. Um, and are, are figments design is currently the only one we have available as a sweatshirt. And um, yes, I guess if you were, um, you can wear it, you know, no matter if you are a man or a woman, however, I will note that it is a crop sweatshirts. Okay. So, um, just so long as you are comfortable with that crop style, I say go for it.

Speaker 1:

Right. So with that, please tell us more. Where can folks find you online, you know, whether it be your website. Yeah. Social media. Please tell us more.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. So we um, our biggest social media presence right now is on Instagram and we're at satisfaction design, you know, all one word, no underscores or anything like that. Um, we are posting daily about um, sales giveaways, collaborations, um, upcoming designs. So following up on Etsy is definitely your best bet to have an awareness about when we are having sales, when we are having a discount codes. Okay. Um, and, and related things and kind of knowing what our upcoming designs, our next one is actually related to spaceship earth and we are super, super pumped about that one. No.

Speaker 1:

Um, and then shipper. Oh yeah. Oh right here. Yeah. You know, he forgets the names of things a lot. Of course

Speaker 2:

I when I was young when I was young I called it the big thing

Speaker 1:

balls. So if I notice that and making sure about the big ball, I would have known what you're talking.

Speaker 2:

Yep. The out the, so that that is inspiring our next design and we are very, very excited about that one. Um, and then as far as um, where you can find our shirts right now we are selling through Etsy and so I'm, all you need to do is go on to Etsy and if you want to search directly, it's at[inaudible] dot com slash shop backflash satisfaction design. Otherwise if you, I'm just going[inaudible] main page and search for us. It's once again, satisfy actual design. All one word, no space between satisfaction and design for the call. And then,

Speaker 3:

yeah, PC, because we, you don't, here in Michigan, our spring break is when a lot of folks in Michigan go down to Disney and to Florida. It's still last week in March for us. And I think it would probably be similar for a lot of different school districts in the Midwest. Yup. When would you recommend people order by to make sure that they could have their shirt and their luggage as they go to Disney?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah. I would, um, I would recommend at least 10 to 12 days in advance, but, um, are, are listening time right now is seven days as far as shipping, but I'm always going to tell people just kind of pad that time. Right. You know, as long as I eliminate in the Midwest and out on the east coast, I mean anything can happen weather wise that may impact such thing. So if I was going to, um, give people kind of a safe timeframe, are our website called the seven days as far as shipping, um, go with, so from there, you know, I would say to be safe 10 to 12 days in advance.

Speaker 3:

Okay. Great. Well thank you again and what we will do is I will make sure to put all of the links for the different social media, your Etsy shop, those different things that you just mentioned in the show notes so that way people can find you and be able to get some of your great designs that the two of you have come up with. And we just really want to thank you for taking time to be on the show today and think Danny as well. Um, we are excited to be able to share your products with our listeners.

Speaker 2:

Absolutely. Well I appreciate you guys having us, um, so much and we look forward to keeping in touch. Oh, most definitely.

Speaker 3:

All right. So thank you again to Ricky for joining us on today's show. And now we have a few of our wrap up sessions that we have towards the end of every episode. First up, we have our trivia with Chris. Last time he made me ask the question. So we're back to our normal setup. Exactly. So you know, photos are our theme for this episode. So I'm gonna ask some photo related questions, Vanessa. Okay. Um, with that, in 2012, Disney ended their sponsorship agreement with this photo based Business Codec, correct? You are correct Codec and now they were one of the colors song they had. They were one of the three original as of 2012 they were one of the three original sponsors. Which three were they like from the park opening the park from the, since 1955 Codec. And these other two companies were the original sponsors?

Speaker 4:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

That we're still around that, that are still in the park today. Well as of you know, again, Codec ended in 2012 they started in 1955 but Kodak plus these two other companies started, their spots are shipped in 1955 so they're part of the original sponsors. Well I know it's not one of the beverage companies cause Pepsi was originally at Disneyland. So I know it's not coke.

Speaker 4:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

I'm going to say, I don't know, it's probably another food related one. Maybe dull. I do may be a subsidy subsidiary. But what I'm going to give this, cause you're not going to get it according to wd w, info.com okay. Kodak, Coca Cola, incarnation. Slash. Nestle. We're the original, I almost said toward the remaining, which is an ethical, you are correct. Yes. So that is interesting. We're going to continue with this piece. I have a question though, because Pepsi was at Disneyland. Did they have both been as, I don't know. I'm going Korean to WDW info.com that's what the answer is. Okay. So I do not know. It might've been in dual thing. I'm going to have to go back. I think he's right. I am not a Disney historian. I have a guy who reads. No, I would believe that. I believe his site. So with that Vanessa, we also talked about Kodak. They ended their sponsorship of what area? Inside of Epcot in 2010 the imagination pavilion. Okay. I didn't, I wouldn't have got that. Okay. When is my favorite perfectly reason why? I know. Wonderful. And in the past there were, there were Kodak picture spots or photo points. Now, which company is the sponsor of the photo spots within Disney? Maybe it is the competitors like Fuji. Incorrect. Hmm.

Speaker 4:

Yeah,

Speaker 3:

it is. It's like, I'll give you a hint. It's a brand of a camera. Nikon, you are correct. Yes. So in 2013 Nikon became the official sponsor of camera supplies and Disney parks in the u s and Kodak photo spots. Rebranded is Nikon photo spots. This is according to Wikipedia. Wow. And I remember Codo Photo Kodak photo spots, but I am going to have to look next and we're there. Well, wonderful. And again, I can say this, Vanessa takes a lot of photos. Thousands of photos. The photos. Yes. So no wonderful. Anyone who follows us on Instagram has saw just a small taste of that. All

Speaker 1:

right. Now that we're done with the Trivia, as always, we're going to end with our wisdom from Walt. And again, kind of going along with pictures, reminds me of family and friends. So I kind of picked a family related quote for this week the most, or excuse me, the important thing is the family. If you keep the family together, and that's the backbone of our whole business, catering to families. That's what we hope to do. So if you remember walts original vision for Disneyland, he wanted to create a place where families could enjoy the parks together. I think that's what this, this quote kind of epitomizes. And of course there's always lots of great things that Walt has talked about that connect back to some of these really important things about bringing families together in the parks and beyond. So thank you again for joining us on this episode of the does love podcasts with Vanessa and Chris. I'm Vanessa and I'm Chris

Speaker 5:

[inaudible].

Speaker 3:
